This Privacy Policy explains how BaytiChef collects, uses, stores, and shares information when customers, chefs, administrators, and visitors use the BaytiChef mobile app, website, and related platform services.
Information We Collect
- Account details such as name, email address, phone number, role, authentication provider, profile photo, language, country, address labels, and notification preferences.
- Chef application and compliance details such as kitchen profile information, menu content, service dates, fulfillment settings, identity details, date of birth, payout onboarding status, IBAN or payout metadata, tax or business information, and records needed to review chef eligibility.
- Order details such as meals selected, quantities, fulfillment method, payment status, delivery information, pickup details, reviews, cancellations, refund reasons, complaints, disputes, and support messages.
- Contact details such as phone number, delivery address, landmark, and pickup notes when you provide them.
- Device and service data such as push notification tokens, app activity needed to complete orders, and technical logs used for security and reliability.
- Payment and payout metadata needed to complete and verify transactions, detect fraud, support refunds, and settle chef payouts. Full card details are handled by payment providers and are not stored directly by BaytiChef.
How We Use Information
- To create and manage customer, chef, and admin accounts, including chef application review and platform access decisions.
- To process orders, payments, cancellations, refunds, and customer support requests.
- To coordinate meal preparation, pickup, and delivery updates.
- To send important transactional notifications such as order status changes and delivery updates.
- To verify chef eligibility, review food-service compliance signals, investigate incidents, handle disputes, protect BaytiChef legally and operationally, maintain platform safety, prevent fraud, and enforce business rules.
- To improve product quality, operations, and service performance, and to comply with legal, tax, accounting, payment-provider, and regulatory obligations.
How Information May Be Shared
- With chefs so they can prepare, package, communicate about, and fulfill customer orders.
- With customers when needed to show chef profiles, menus, order status, pickup details, support responses, and marketplace trust information.
- With delivery partners when delivery is selected.
- With payment, authentication, cloud messaging, and hosting providers that support the service.
- With fraud-prevention, security, analytics, messaging, support, legal, accounting, insurance, and professional service providers where needed to operate and protect the platform.
- With regulators, law enforcement, courts, payment networks, insurers, lawyers, accountants, or advisers where needed for legal compliance, safety, fraud prevention, claims, disputes, investigations, or enforcement.
Data Retention
BaytiChef keeps information for as long as needed to operate the service, complete orders and payouts, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, enforce agreements, and maintain business records. Some order, payment, payout, chef compliance, fraud-prevention, support, and legal records may be retained after account deletion when retention is required or reasonably necessary.
Security
BaytiChef uses reasonable administrative, technical, and operational safeguards to protect personal information. No system can guarantee absolute security.

- You may stop receiving push notifications by changing device settings.

Children
BaytiChef is not intended for children under the minimum age permitted by applicable law to use the service independently.
